Our concerts

Inspiring performers and international artists are features of our concerts.

Their programmes include some of the most celebrated music in the repertoire and also other interesting works that they particularly like performing.

You can select individual events or enjoy the benefit of a big discount with a season ticket.

The Holywell Music Room

The Music Room is the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Europe. Perfect for chamber music, it is loved by musicians and audiences for its superb acoustic and intimate atmosphere.

Located in central Oxford, the Music Room is close to pubs and other facilities. There is some pay and display on-street parking nearby on Mansfield Road. Street Map OX1 3SD

The Society

Choose a season ticket and you'll also become a subscribing member of the Society; there are no strings attached. Your ticket is transferable so if you have to miss concert, you can treat a friend.

The Society is managed by a committee of elected members, chairman Brian Carroll. Our President is the oboist and educator George Caird.
